The rules for using Vrrity, in plain language. Building and previewing your documents is always free. You pay only for downloads or for Pro, you can cancel Pro any time, and you keep ownership of everything you write.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and VritiCraft India, a sole proprietorship of Ms Nidhi Rani based in Gurugram, Haryana (no-944, sushant lok 1, C block,6,Gurugram, Haryana, 122001), which operates Vrrity at vrrity.com. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Vrrity.
2. Who can use Vrrity
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
3. What you get
Always free: building, editing and previewing resumes, CVs and cover letters, with or without an account.
Free trial: when you create an account, you get a free trial (length shown on Pricing). It includes a limited allowance of AI features and full use of the job tracker. No card is needed, and it ends automatically.
After the trial: your documents stay yours and editable. AI features stop, and the job tracker becomes read-only, until you buy Pro.
Downloads (PDF, Word, and the matching cover letter) are bought per resume or CV, or included with Pro. A download purchase covers that exact version for 7 days of re-downloads; the purchased version can't be edited, but you can make a copy to edit, which needs its own download.
Pro (monthly or annual) includes every download and a larger AI allowance for the period you paid for.
AI allowances are fair-use limits, never unlimited. Current limits are shown in the app. We may change features and limits, and we'll give notice of changes that reduce what you've already paid for.
4. Prices, payment and GST
Prices are in Indian Rupees and shown on Pricing and at checkout. 18% GST is added at checkout.
Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets). We never see or store your card or bank details.
Pro renews automatically every month or year (whichever you chose) through UPI Autopay, a card mandate or an e-mandate you approve at checkout, at the price shown then. You get a pre-debit notice before each renewal charge, as RBI rules require.
Cancel any time in Account → Billing. No further charges are made, and Pro continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We don't refund part-used periods (see the Refund Policy for the 7-day guarantee on your first payment).
If a renewal payment fails, Pro ends when the paid period runs out. Nothing in your account is deleted.
Single downloads are one-time payments and never renew.
Access is granted only after the payment is confirmed by Razorpay to our server.
Student and campus pricing need verification, and the discount can be withdrawn if the verification turns out to be false.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy (including the 7-day money-back guarantee).
5. Your content
You own everything you write and upload. You give us only the permission we need to store, process, display and export it to provide the service to you, including sending it to AI providers when you use an AI feature. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. The exception is backups, which roll over within a short period.
You're responsible for your content being accurate and lawful. Don't put false qualifications, other people's personal data without their permission, or anything that infringes someone else's rights into your documents.
6. AI features
AI suggestions are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review and edit everything before you use it. You decide what goes on your resume. We don't guarantee interviews, job offers, ATS scores or any particular outcome.
7. Acceptable use
Don't:
Break the law, or use Vrrity to deceive employers or impersonate someone.
Try to access other people's accounts or data, or probe, scan or attack the service.
Get around usage limits, for example by creating multiple accounts to get more trials or AI use, or by automated scraping.
Resell or copy the service, our templates or our content without written permission.
Upload malware or anything harmful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where reasonable, we'll tell you why first.
8. Our content
The Vrrity name, logo, website, templates, designs, articles and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the templates to create documents for your own job search. You may not extract or redistribute the templates themselves.
9. Example resumes and demo content
The sample resumes, CVs, cover letters, resume examples and product demos on Vrrity are for illustration only. The people in them, such as “Ananya Rao” or “Aarav Sharma”, are fictional. Their names, email addresses, phone numbers, profile links, scores and achievements are made up, and any resemblance to a real person is a coincidence.
Company, college and product names appear only to make the examples realistic. They don't mean those organisations endorse or work with Vrrity, and the examples don't describe real jobs, results or hiring outcomes.
When you use an example as a starting point, replace everything with your own true details. Your resume must describe your real education and experience.
10. Availability
We work to keep Vrrity running and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control, such as provider outages. Keep your own copy of important documents by downloading them.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as a lost job opportunity), and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other law that can't be excluded.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings. This removes your documents and photos immediately. Paid periods aren't refunded on deletion except under the Refund Policy. We may close accounts that break these terms, or after long inactivity with prior notice by email.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first, because most issues can be resolved quickly through support or our Grievance Officer (see the Privacy Policy). Any dispute that can't be resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you by email or in the app before they apply. If you keep using Vrrity after that, you accept the updated terms.
